Objective : Lohri is the harvest festival of Punjab, famously known as the bread-basket state of India. This harvest festival is celebrated to mark celebration and acquaint the new generation with the tradition and values of Indian culture and fervour.

Outcome:  Lohri  was  celebrated with great enthusiasm at Nirja Sahay D.A.V Public School. The children had a gala time as they danced around the holy bonfire and offered their prayers for prosperity of the nation. The day began by creating awareness among the students about the significance of the most-awaited Punjabi festival. The students showcased their talent in various activities. A sky touching fun with kite-flying filled everyone with joy, thrill and inspiration. The whole function was a scintillating bonanza of modern and traditional culture and heritage.
